Appointments for guests with SEN and neurodiverse clients

With first-hand experience with trying to find that perfect dress whilst navigating SEN and neurodiverse needs, we understand the added stress and sensory overload that finding that perfect dress can bring.

So, here at Courtyard Manor, we have introduced neurodiverse-friendly appointments.

• Neurodivergent staff – who have a mutual understanding of your individual needs.
• Extended appointments – we offer 3-hour extended appointments so you can try the dresses on at your own pace.
• Calm and peaceful surroundings – if you feel disregulated during the appointment, we have some beautiful surroundings to go for a walk in to help you relax. With the calming nature, such as swans, red kites, and a host of wildlife to help you relax, it's the perfect calming environment.
• Music just for you – if music helps keep you relaxed, you choose what you want to listen to.
• Your appointment, your way – we take your lead on how you want the appointment to go. We listen to your wishes. If you would prefer your guest helps you get into the dress, no problem. We will guide your guest on how to help.
• Room decisions – we have two rooms to choose from. Our prom room has the wow factor. If you want to walk the extravagant catwalk and strut your stuff, choose this room. If you prefer something a bit more sophisticated, cosy and a little less bling, then this is the room for you. Just make your choice on the booking form.
